Avenir Idling issues = Pain in the butt
Okay so this has been really grinding my gears to the point where i made a video for it. Everything is stock and i tried adjust the iacv no help. And the ECU is from a 96 SE-R.

Stock ECU.
If the z32 MAF is blow through? then my MAF is a blow through.
Yes for knock and crankshaft sensor.

So you are trying to get a stock ECU to control a larger fuel injector, a larger MAF and you are trying to blow through the MAF instead of suck through like it is designed?

Oh boy!

Something like that till I can get some cash to reflash my ecu.
I Get what you mean about the MAF, i didnt know the Z32 MAF was a draw through till i looked inside.

Your ECU is trying to run things it does not know are present. The compression ratio, injectors, and MAF are all different and the cars ECU cannot figure out why so it is doing what the video shows I guess.

Your ECU needs to be programmed for all the different things you installed. Your stock 1996 ECU has no idea how or why there are now different injectors and a different air metering device installed.

How you swapped the engine without knowing this, to me, is crazy and I mean that in the nicest way possible. After all, I did explain what is going on.

Yeah i kinda figured that but i had hoped it would of worked due to seeing posts about people doing swaps and using Stock ECU's but in my case it didnt work out.
Thanks kyle.

With that being said is there a cheap way of getting the ecu reflashed or fix for this?

You can find used JWT ones for your exact setup in the $200~$300 range.

There are also new things coming out soon too that will be plug and play.

Agreed, although you may need to find one w/a random tune and get it re flashed if you can't find one for your exact setup used.

As others said, you gotta get that ECU replaced before you go driving it around.

I can only see this for someone who simply bolted a turbo up to their stock DE and kept the same injectors/MAF. Which some people do, but not for long, because you're very limited as to how much power you can make with the stock parts. Having said that, if you put the stock injectors and MAF back in it should run OK, but your timing maps are going to be all messed up due to the compression change, so I wouldn't give it more than light throttle.
