P11 automatic trans
So I'm planning to use a p11 trans (sr20 cable type transmission)
On a sr20 ve with a t28. So roughly 300hp.

Yay or nay?
I won't be burning out and stuff just daily driving.
I was thinking about rebuilding it when it goes boom with better parts if I can get them. Or maybe a transgo shift kit

If its a Non T ( No LSD) it will hold up. For some reason the LSD Auto breaks

My A/T List...

1st - non-lsd - It failed after 500 miles.
2nd - non-lsd with Phantom Grip - failed after 500 miles
3rd - LSD - failed after 3,000 miles

now I have a P11 M/T LSD - 600+ miles and no failure yet.

The A/T can NOT physically hold the power. From the clutch discs, to the band & drum, to the input shaft, to the torque converter.

Get a M/T 70 or 50 series box and sleep good every night.

Yeah don't bother with the auto... Once you pass up the bolt ons your in for trouble... My p11 is stock and already has problems... sucks..

Damn. I wasn't really looking at stick shift. The car is a daily and I'm not the only driver.
