Anyone ever changed a door before?
I have a 01 sentra with power everything in the door, and want to change the door itself. The door I have access to is a manual crank, so I'd want to transfer everything but the metal over. Is this a lot of work? Has anyone ever done it and have a tips/tricks? The door I'm getting is minty as far as rust is concerned.

I think the window motor and stuff might be riveted in along with some other items. Im sure it can be done but it will be a pain.

The pane is what I am most concerned with, being that the hardware to crank and the hardware to not convert over or not - I wonder if the crank mount would be different than that of the electronics?

Should be a pretty straightforward job.The door itself is easy enough, and so should swapping from manual windows to power ones. I've been an accessories installer for many years, and putting power windows on a manual car is as easy as bolting and unbolting 95% of the time. The window itself bolts or in some cases clips into either regulator;manual or power.Get a second pair of hands to help you,and go.
