Thread: Sr20 DE or De help

Ok fellers a little help needed i bought a head and block sr20 an installed it in my bluebird u14 but not sure if its a DE or De is there a difference there? Plz help cus i dont know what the previous owner dis with this intake manifold etc, my plan is to sort it out and then work my way up to more horses as i can achieve

SR = motor series
16/18/20 = liters
D = Duel overhead cam
i = Single-port fuel injection
E/e = Electronic multi-port fuel injection

Ok so DE and De is the same thing then and going to post sum pics

The first pic is what it has now the white one is what i got it with, these ppl had an sr 18 head an block and and sr 20 intake manifold as far as i was told so not sure what to think the head and block i bought when the first one was blown, it was an sr20 black top uk spec dats wat inside now but how am i sure. Whats the difference with the uk spec and how can i identify to confirm thanx in advance
