No, the factory VLSD is a SEALED unit meaning it does not interact or mix with whatever transmission fluid you use.

Wow. Very cool! Rarest color too if that's the stock color. I forget the color name. Look inside the driver door jamb and tell us what the exterior color code is please! Lucky guy. And it's clean too. Throw an HKS exhaust and sticky tires on there and call it a day.

Great find my friend! and at a steal of a price too!!! Keep it original, you can always find other cars to play with, but stock SE-R's are rare hear, much less in Portugal!!

What Kyle says is true but what I think you were asking is if it uses a different oil than regular gearbox oil, and to that I answer yes. It is sealed like Kyle says but it uses a special fluid. Maybe you can try changing the viscosity of the fluid to get a different response out of the LSD.

Is it rusted at all? If not then yeah it should be a great buy.

It has a bit of rust, not really nasty at first view... but it´s a great buy anyway, even if it was for parts(wich it´s not) i could get my money back on the engine alone... VLSD in PT working or not there´s 0... it´s worth the money in parts alone...

About the color it´s not stock, it was originally red, i would mind if it still was...

The car is unique and will surprise quite a few ppl... i´m pretty happy... just don´t know exactly what to do with it... if i get a cracked windscreen os damage body part i cna´t get no replacments, all as to come from overseas...

Any of you kind souls can please take a picture of the rear SE-R badge, so i can make some replicas??? i needs to be centered and good quality... i cannot find any good one on google images... and cannot find the font type...

Please please

I'm sure one of us can get you an OEM one from a dealer local to us (if they still have them).
