HP Power Steering leak?? A little help/opinion (with pics)
So, long story shot, I was doing the LCA recently and when I got under the vehicle, I discovered the inside wheel and several other components covered in a oil like substance (the texture and smell tells me it may not be oil). The fluid is all over the passenger side components and inner wheel. I delve under to inspect and I simply cannot spot the leak, but can see a spray pattern. It seems as if it's the Power Steering high pressure hose, but I simple cannot tell

So, what do you guys think?? I check the oil and PS fluid and they are all at the correct levels, so I am not sure what else to look at (Its a stick shift, so no tranny fluid)

Thanks

The smallest pin hole in the line can spray a big mess and be almost impossible to pinpoint. Unless you run the car and let someone turn the wheel back and forth and watch for the squirt. My white Ser would squirt it like 2 feet. The hose is easy to replace it is just pricey.

your best bet is to clean it off and check when it's running. also your missing a zerks on the outer tie rod.

Yeah Keo, I tried to do just that as the fluid was seen on Monday, so I cleaned it up, and then this..........The only thing I have done is turn the wheel while it's up on stands (had no helping hands at the time )

Oh, and that is the swaybar endlink and zerk fitting was installed but removed for picture purposes

@Keo: Do you know the copper washer sizes use for the bango bolts?? Heard they were " 5/8" inside diameter and 7/8" outside diameter"??
