Headgasket vs bore
I bought a VE metal headgasket from Greg a long time ago. Am I correct that this is one meant for a 86mm bore?
Because I had my block machined to 86,5 and now to 87mm, I'm not sure if this headgasket would work.

Do you think I would run into problems when using the 86mm gasket on a 87mm bore? Or is the gasket larger than 86mm?

Any recommendations for a replacement headgasket for a VE with 87mm bore if I can't use the stock HG?

Additional question: When boring out the cylinders, would I have to use the HG as well (when using a torqueplate)? If so, it would have to be equal, or larger than the boring size?
As in, I can't use the 86mm headgasket.

From what I understood about the MLS gaskets is the are made larger than the bore they are to fit. The reason is the gasket has a small step around the cylinder bore and that becomes compressed and squeezes out a bit to take up from of that extra diameter and get a bit closer to your actual cylinder bore size.

It does, thanks!

I will measure the bores on the HG myself as well, just to be sure.

So I could use the gasket while having the block machined to a bigger bore (87mm)?
