Very true, but the rear sub-frame can't be swapped out without bumping me up a class, and the front can always hold more tire than the S13. Also, the gas tank placement is much better on the S14 than the S13. The S13's gas tank is under the trunk toward the rear of the car. The S14 has it in front of the rear subframe under the rear seats, so your weight distribution doesn't change much as you go through fuel.

Well they finally got a video up of the competition, but it was only the first day. More to come. Street tires and wheel hop owned me, lol. 60' was a second slower than usual. Oh well, it was still a good time:

Lol, HP is not the problem It was street tires and shot subframe bushings.

Good job! Looking forward to more video

11.79 from the civic track car is actually pretty impressive (especially considering the field of cars)! Wasn't even running drag spec tires that I could see

The only one running drag tires at the event was the RX-7. We had one choice of tires to carry us through all events. I chose direzza star spec IIs. I kind of wish I would have ran my MT DR's, ha ha. I actually had the highest treadwear of all the cars. Everyone had 100, I had 200, lol. Hoping to get in the event for next year better prepared!

The civic was a very well done car. Cool owner too, not the typical civic guy at all. He and the guy in the Galant were the two I got along with the best. Very down to earth and their for a good time, not too competitive. The guy in the R34 was the most competitive spirited and egotistical of the group unfortunately. He wasn't a bad guy, but he definitely put people on edge.

Cost is calculated later in the event, lol. But it was factory MSRP adjusted for inflation, which was kinda lame.
