Who's used them on our cars? Any pro's or con's I need to know about before I get one?
This is the one I'm looking at getting.

Yeah stronger than stock with easy timing adjustments. At least that's what I have in mind lol.

stock b13 ignition isnt that bad from what i hear an you can run different coils an such..

if you dont already have nismotronic, it'd be money better spent imo.

I'm using a msd coil and have a calum realtime. Just liked the idea of turning a little screw to retard timing. Hell the fact that the ignition can run full timing, and has a retard feature for when I arm the nitrous is nice. I just keep the timing down.

I'm looking into this stuff because I've had issues with the timing changing on it's own somehow the last couple of years. Doesn't make sense, I know.

whats cool about nismotronic is theres a built in nitros feature as well as the ability to run 2 different fuel/timing maps with the flick of a switch. maybe @JKTUNING could chime in.

I used most of these over the years not to much problems just make sure all your wiring is clean during installation and good quality connectors is used. Pays to spend a little extra there you will have less problems down the road. If your using one of these in a B14 you will need tach adapter 8910-eis it works the best for getting rid of the check engine light. I'm not using a tach adapter in my b13 I get a ignition system code but no light is displayed on the dash so it does not bother me.

That is correct. There is a built in Nitrous feature with the SA package that allows full control over nitrous activation, fueling and ignition.

This link has the details.
