Thread: Axle/trans seal question

Hey everyone...my passenger side seal is leaking where the axle goes into the trans. I cant figure out which part it is on Courtesy...any help? 91 NX2K
Also...the cup washer that goes around that seal is loose and wobbling around...what part is that?

Make sure you replace the seal with an oem one. The factory seal has metal surrounded by rubber so it's stronger. The cheap all rubber ones from parts houses will leak. The washer you speak of is on the axle to help protect the seal. It just sort of snaps onto the seal in the trans.

thats what i am trying to do...whats the damn name/number of the part!!!???

Yeah here's the set on Gregs site. The larger of the two goes to the driver side, and the smaller one is passenger side.
