is your clutch switch working? I always bypass that so you dont have to put the clutch in to start.

Tried everything we could think of and a few things other people suggested...new starter...new battery...cleaned and checked over every ground under the hood...checked fuses and fusable links...nothing...starter out of car spins fine...in the car just clicks...the gear kicks out but won't spin.

Sounds like your starter is dead. U-pull should have spares

Have someone get under the car with a long reach screwdriver or other prodding device and a hammer and hit the hammer while someone else tries to key on. I had the same problem a few months ago where my starter died, stranded me in a parking lot only to have upon a key turn, one relay click and nothing else. I thought it was the clutch switch so I put a paper clip in there and same thing. Had to call for backup in the form of a friend with a hydraulic lift, jack stands, hammer, and a long reach screw driver. It worked to get it home that night. The next morning I parked on a upper portion of my neighborhood and was able to bump start it to get it to the garage where my best friend changed the starter for me.

New starter tested fine and on ground I front of car worked. When put in same exact symptom. Costless wouldn't give me another stater cuz it tested fine the assholes. Going to put stop payment to them. They also wouldn't take back 45 dollars in relays that were the wrong ones saying they were used.
