Unfortunately, I don't own a garage, but I do own 2 cars. A DD and my 200sx. I work on and spend all the time and money I do on the car to *drive* it. I take it to HPDE events and try to drive the car as much as I can when the weather is good. This includes 600 mile round trips. I thoroughly enjoy the car and plan to own it for a while(owned it for 6 years so far). I went back and forth between selling it and getting a new Mustang GT, but I can't let the car go. It's too damn cheap to work on and the money to fun ratio is way too damn high to let it go for a $30k car. The car doesn't looks so great, but it's damn fast and fun. Perhaps if I had a garage I'd make it look better than it does hah.
I do enjoy the contrast between the 200sx and my DD. The DD is comfortable, quiet, and an auto, although I'm currently looking for a 5-speed G20 to replace my Maxima. Some days I don't feel like starting the 200sx up and just drive the Maxima instead. The Maxima is easy.
