Rear mount alternator with overdrive alt pulley
I'm curious if anyone is running a rear mount alternator setup with an overdrive alternator pulley in a b13/n14 chassis?
I recall my stock pulley being very close to the body/engine bay on my car and can see a few scuff marks where it obviously touched as the motor titled under accelleration. I want to add the underdrive crank pulley but need to compensate wiht an overdrive alternator pulley but I thnik this setup may rub. Are there any other real world benefits to the alternator pulley?
I run no radio on the car, no ac/ps etc. BUt my engine management system and tune is sensitive to voltage fluctuations.
