Upcoming AC project
so with the temperatures soaring to over 100 degrees the last few weeks here I've decided that it's a good idea to overhaul my air conditioning.

I've ordered a new dryer, an expansion valve, new seals, a/c relays, and possibly a new condenser. In the future I will be putting my turbo setup back on and I've read that the 1.6 line clears the J pipe but I'm unclear as to which car people are specifying.

I will be also cleaning the evaporator and lines out as well and I'm wondering if there's anything else that I am overlooking for this overhaul. Which 1.6 line should I order?

License a/c mechanic here. If your a/c work, dont try to fix it.

Forgot to preface this that it currently doesnt work and will not hold a charge.

Normally I yank it out but this time due to moving to CA and the extreme heat Ive decided to overhaul it instead. I checked the high pressure line at the valve and it has zero pressure

Anyone know which 1.6 line to run? Will be tackling it this weekend and would prefer to only do it once

So fyi for the future turbo guys who want to retain AC you can either get the OEM 92480-64Y05 or the Everco 56856. This may require a bit of tweaking which I will go over in the next update

Wouldn't it also help to convert to the new style a/c pump found on the p11 and b15. Shorter by about 2.5" and moved the line over a bit too.
