How Do I Fill In Holes?
As many of you know, our cars come with an excessive amount of holes throughout the engine bay. For the sake of making my car cleaner looking, I'd like to fill the holes in. Does anyone have any advice, tips or methods to the best way to fill these holes in?

I do not have access, nor the time or money, to weld it so that is not an option.

Thanks in advance!

that is your only option. if you were to use say a compound filler like a bondo or a steelputty bar it will crack and fall out over time.

do it right, or dont do it at all u know.

Fiber glass resin with that cat hair stuff shouldn't crack, because it doesn't absorb water like bondo. You can back the holes with a square of woven fiberglass in resin let it dry. Then put a small amount of the cat hair stuff in the hole and cover it with masking tape or something and mold/form it into shape to save time sanding.

But welding would be a better option IMO

Welding is the best option.

I am doing the same thing. I was seeking another option but, I think welding is the only way to do it right.

awesome thank you guys. i'm just going to leave the holes. bondo doesnt belong on that car and until i can find the time and money to get it welded i will deal with it. car will still look great after.

i just stick the plugs from the tunk in all those holes

trunk leaks so it doesnt need the plugs plus thats less weight out of the rear and into the front

as above, weld everything.

i did mine, twice...lol....second time was due to not listening to my own advice..i.e weld those bitches..lol

i then got bored with the idea so cut a load of it out..lol..i ran some welds around the suspension turrets and any where else panels over lapped so i could smooth them all out.
