B14 clunking from suspension
I was just wondering this. I was driving the wife's car today and noticed that there is a clunk noise coming from the suspension in the front as I go over moderate sized bumps. It is very annoying, but I figured maybe some of you guys could have some input on what could be making the noise. My old SER did it as well but I never got around to seeing what it was.
I know it is not the CV axles, and it is unlikely to be tie rod ends. I was thinking the control arm bushings, ball joints, and strut mounts or something. Any input on solving this mystery before I jump in and start to pinpoint the problem. If possible I will fix the SEL before it starts getting bad on that too.
