the t5itans 5.6 liter would rock in it but that would require alot of work as it apears alot wider then the v6 that is in it , I could go out to the drive way and check but it is pretty cold out there

Took the words out of my mouth, I'd think depending on the year the VQ35DE swap would be a lot more straightforward. Has a KA24DE now, or a QR???

VQ has a lot going for it stock, just don't plan on building it out someday to insane numbers, not worth it IMHO. Not unless you're willing to lose at least one!

What is the motor right now that is IN your Xterra?

what about the x-trail engine, isnt that the only factory turbo ve?

just googled the truck and its nissans first crossover sized just under the exterra so im sure it has a lot of similarity in chassy construction though it didnt say what the chassy was based on. It did say that the jap version had a 280 hp vet and the ausy version has a gay qr2.5.

TD27. diesel engine from the Navara. I'm sure with a few upgrades you would have enough torque (and I am pretty sure people have done this swap before too)

WHat about dropping the factory supercharged engine and just working on that. All these swaps you want to do , don't seem like they would really offer much for the expenses required then just getting the supercharged engine and working with that. Are you talking about the first xterra or the second? If your talking about the first then its a VG motor. Research VG motors and the possibilities are pretty open.

GOod luck man.

mine is a vg33e it makes like 170hp and 208ftlbs of torque the supercharged model only has 210hp and 246ftlbs of torque it does not seem worth the exspense of finding and swapping that motor , hell the stock non supercharged motor is around 1,300.00 abd let alone a supercharged one and the stuff to control it , if I coulod fit a a rb25 and get advanced adapters to build a adapter setup you have all the stuff to run the motor in the front clip if you bought one and it would have way more -better power then a supercharged swap ...
