Electrical load changes AFR's
AEM EUGO wideband. SR20VE. Stock VE inj's, n60. Calum basic ecu. walbro 255lph. b13, alternator less than 3 years old.
While idling if no additional load (ie- headlights, heat, radio) is currently on my idle stays solid at around 14.7. As I turn on additional things like headlights, the AFR will drop to around 12.5:1 and if I turn the heat on at the same time it will idle around 10.2:1. Turn everything off and it goes right back to 14.7 ish.
Recently decided to re-install my stereo (Clarion CZ702, Boss 3k watt max mono, pioneer sub). This obviously draws more power than headlights and affects my AFR's while driving (as the sub hits you can imagine is when it affects it. I will probably throw a capacitor on to see if holding stable supply from power alleviates the draw from the amplifier issues and for good measure will probably throw a few new grounds from engine to chassis for good measure.
Any ideas? Need more information?
Thanks for any help.
