Need help/advise with hydro clutch install
OK so im trying to use a Maxima pedal assy with a B15 CMC in my B13/NX... the problem is the rod adjustment length is too short.

I put a spacer thats about the space the stock stuff has with the spacer on the firewall.

Here is the shortfall from that (as it was adjusted from factory)

---------

adjusting the "fork" to the end of the rod

I get just a hair closer...

-----

how it looks with the pin in the fork...

I wish you were local I'm sitting here looking at pics of my maxima MC and call me crazy but it looks as if the plastic piece for the remote mount reservoir coming off the MC on the B15 has similar mounting points like the maxima one.

What year Maxima is that pedal from?

I was at the junk yard today and picked up a 95 Maxima pedal along with a clutch master cylinder from a 98 Altima.

The rod length on the 98 Altima master cylinder matches the Maxima master cylinder and fits on the Maxima pedal.
The 98 Altima master cylinder is a little longer than the Maxima and may clear the pinch on the fire wall on my B13.

I tried installing the pedal on a junk B13 there but the 95 Maxima pedal has an extension welded on the front and wouldn't clear the wiring harness behind the lower dash panel, so I never got to try the 98 Altima master cylinder on a B13.

I'm going to try and find a 92 Maxima pedal and see if it is any different. Otherwise I'll just cut off the extension on the 95 Maxima pedal and hope it fits.

I'd appreciate it if you could post a followup and let us B13 owners know if you have any clearance problems.

Just a heads up for anyone else pulling a Altima clutch master cylinder. There was a 95 Altima there, and the clutch master cylinder was a different style and longer than the 1998 Altima one.

I think the pedal is from a 98. I know it's from the 95-99 range. I had the pedal mostly installed but then took it back out when I noticed the pedal assy had studs on it as well as the B15 CMC. I did cut the top bolt hole off b/c it would hit a harness under the dash.

I just got a 2000 P11 so I'm in the process of gathering parts for the conversion. I'll need to move my cruise control stuff too.

You're right, it look like you could put a B15 remote reservoir on a Maxima Clutch master cylinder.
I'm probably going to use the 98 Altima master cylinder with the remote reservoir of a late 80's Pulsar. The Pulsar remote has a bracket that slips in front of the brake master cylinder so the the clutch reservoir sits above the brake master cylinder reservoir. Easy to get to and out of the way of everything else. The Pulsar reservoir looks like the B15 reservoir. I wouldn't be surprised if they are interchangeable.

Do you have a B13 or B14?

EDIT, I meant I just got a P11 tranny, not a P11.

Which top bolt hole did you cut off, the one on the front of the pedal or the one on the side,(that matches the B13 pedal bolt hole tab)?

front one, wouldnt make any sense to cut the side one off.
