My B13 almost killed me today.
Wow! Well first off glad im safe and nothing happened to me or the car.

Driving over to my parents house today to start my rear mount battery installation and everything is fine, Take a nice shot up the
highway to 65mph or so then coast and brake normal as always...

Then go to slow down again and pedal goes to the floor WTF.... Hit it again and straight to the floor hmmmm.
Thank god there was no traffic and I could cost into a parking lot, I open the door and hit the peal and hear
fluid and air leaking out when I hit the pedal.

I didn't have time to jack the car up and look but my guess is a hard brake line to the rear brakes has rotted out.
Im pretty sure when I did my NON ABS Conversion the front lines only go from the Master Cylinder to the calipers
and only the rear lines travel under the car.

Anyone else run into this kinda issue? While searching the forum I couldn't find much else, 1 other person.

Hope its not a huge PITA to fix, Was just getting ready to finish my battery / mount new drag radials and race on wed.

Kinda looks like maybe a jack or lift may have help damage the lines too in the past at some point.
Whew ,that could have been bad.(not that its good, but you are alive)

Had the same thing happen when I was driving my B14. Lines went real quick and I eventually pumped out enough fluid to cause the light to go on by my continued driving. The pedal kept getting mushy and I was not stopping, had little to no traffic in front of me and I was able to turn left into a convenience store (conveniently timed) to purchase more fluid and limp home using back roads and higher gears to coast about.

It sucks, it happens. I replaced mine fro that parts where yours was and back to the entire part. The hard lines were riddled with salty abuse. Glad you and your B13 are ok.

I ended up buying long stick of hard brake line and then bending them. Such a tedious task.....

Finding Factory Hard lines is not likely so plan on bending your own - NAPA actually has a PVC coated hard lines that are supper easy to shape and last much longer.

Good luck.

Sweet any idea of the part #? How long did it take to do? Im going to tackle soon maybe this weekend.. Did you need any special tools to flare the ends or anything?

Not off the top of my head or that I can find on the NAPA Pro Link - Call your local NAPA and tell them that you want the PVC coated brake tubing hardline - they sell it flared with fittings already - all you will need is a coupler to get the length you need.
