not to thread jack but i have an 04 spec-v tranny, axles, shift linkage etc if you decide you want to go that route... let me know... the CMC and slave cyl are still on the car.. i have to see if they are still good.

The most noise i get is a slow speed turn with medium load (not enough to get it to lock) and it will "groan" a little bit.

are you saying this because it damages the LSD or something? or are you just saying that because it does not offer as smooth of a ride as running the nismo with other fluids?

I would also like to know about what the proper fluid is for the nismo mech. unit. I've been running lightweight shockproof for about 2 years with this installed. I also used it with the VLSD that was in the tranny before.

Yes, it makes some clunking noises, but only in 1st gear....at very slow speeds...and when turning sharply to the left or right, such as pulling into a parking spot, etc. According to the nismo installation instructions that came with the diff, this noise/clunking sound is completely normal and is to be expected.

On another note, I'm glad to hear you have had so many miles and HPDE's without much wear. I was never quite sure if this thing needed maintenance every few years or something.
