I was thinking that if the Infinity parts counter tells from the VIN which part number is for a particular vehicle's transmission, then you could figure out if it's for the 1999 tranny or the 2000+, based on that part number.
What was most important to me on that link was that it listed the manufacture dates, for the G20t's with the RS5F32V and the RS5F70V.
If this information is correct it looks like a G20t made 7/99 could have either tranny.
