If you can hold off for a bit I could probabaly do it cheaper. My brother is finishing his oven to powder coat parts with. not sure what he's wanting to charge, but i might orcastrate a group buy of sorts to get a deal going for the forum. Its in my garage so i have some say in what i do lmao

Lol Id definitely have you do it but im trying to get it back together asap. Just going to paint it myself and put the cover back on. What silicone/sealant do you guys use when reattaching the baffle to the cover?

Really havent gotten to experience anything yet. Just have done little brackets. I got a couple valve covers to test out so we'll see what I can find out.

How do you guys recommend reinstalling the baffle. Been trying to drill and tap it for bolts but the tap bits are just snapping. Any recommendations?

You the same gray RTV you use on the other seals. You could use rivets if you have the holes cleaned out. The RTV should be strong enough to hold it in, but i have never put one back on to know for sure.

CNC Billet Oil Cap Silver Nissan 200SX SR20DET Skyline r33 GTST s14 s13 Silvia | eBay

Off topic but can anyone confirm if this cap will fit?

Yeah, from what I remember it will fit, but its not really practical. I remember it was difficult to put it on tight and then loosen it again because there was nothing to really grab it by, those finger grooves don't look as big in person.
