not to be a pain but can you specify which has the hump and which is flat? lol

lsd= hump non lsd =flat

abs/non-abs doesn't have an affect on it. might be that the axles and tranny are mismatched, meaning lsd with non-lsd is my guess.

I took out my axle this morning and checked my tranny and this is what I found:

The tranny in the pic is just my spare, but it's exactly the same as the one in my car. Based on the info given, it seems like I have LSD Tranny with LSD Axles correct? I just wanna be 100% so sorry for the repetitiveness.

thats a lsd tranny. looks like the axel is missing the retaining clip.

FTR, The driver's side axle for an lsd tranny is shorter than a non-lsd. That's because the splined hole in the tranny is closer to the hub, hence the bump out on the case itself.

I'm guessing someone removed it to make getting the axle in a little easier. Doh!

the driver side lsd axel is about 23"-24" from end to end. The non lsd axel will be longer by few inches.

Yep. I guess they did not know the cold chassis grease trick. I have had one fight with me comming out but I have always got them to snap in place by hand. Cold chassis grease ftw
