Help needed, dipstick blowing out.....
My car has been down since october, when I destroyed 3rd gear. I just recently got it back up and running, but now whenever I give it full throttle the dipstick blows out. My first thought was blow by, but I just did a compression test and it's all good. While it was apart, I noticed that there was ALOT of oil drained into the intake from the vc. I bought a cheap catch-can off ebay, but I don't see how that could be causing my issue. Any help or things to try is greatly appreciated, I've never had this problem before.

have you checked your pcv valve is working properly?

Did you block off the breather tube on the block?

No, and NO. I'm pretty sure it's the cheap catch can not flowing enough air through it. I'll have to check it out over the next couple of days.

Leave the hose connected to the pipe disconnected and see if the motor is breathing properly

It was the catch can. Simply restricting the airflow. I'm going to see if I can find some fittings that fit the stock size hose that connects the vc and the intake, and have the can drilled and tapped for that size.

Dipstick seriously blowing completely free of the hole, or it just popping up?

you can bend it a little it to keep it down a little better.
