AFM voltage 12v on all 3 wires?
Well, my Q45 AFM never had a plug on it, and i used prongs instead and tape. Now i received another q45 AFM(Which has a similar plug to the VE afm) and i wired it up, matching pin layouts and what not.
Car started fine but i noticed AFM voltage was below 1v, so i thought screw it and plugged in my original AFM. Now all 3 wires have 12v across them when plugged into either AFM.
When they are not plugged in, i get 12v live, 0v ground and 0v signal. This seems to point that the AFM's are both broken but the original afm was fine until i plugged the other one in, has anyone experienced something like this?
I have double checked all the wiring involved and everything is fine, so i don't know where the problem lies. I am going to change over the ecu and see if that helps
Any help would be great.. thanks
