True,people has bad gas in jetskis here after sitting for a few months.
On both my cars that sat for over 5 years,you could smell the bad gas when you opened the door of the car. OBVIOUS smell of bad gas.
Surely when you put in the walbro you had to look in the tank and clean the sock.
Now way in hell the gas was fresh after 7 years.
One of mine had problems again after a few months too,it started making right turns...the sock was getting clogged with crap that I didnt get in the first go-round of cleaning the tank.
I removed the pump assy and cleaned the tank again,and never had another problem.
But let me tell you,it is not a fun job cleaning the tank.
