I just bought a 92 b13
I got a new battery for her and a new 255 fuel pump and plugs. The car started and drove okay but i wouldnt WOT it at all.
So i came home and adjusted the tps to .45, bumped the timing a tad bit changed out the injectors and still nothing better. Then i re-grounded the maf and still nothing.
Yesterday when i started the car it had a hard time and now after about 5 seconds of starting it, it dies down and runs like shit. I give it gas and its just hesitating like crazy.
I cleaned out the iacv and maf and still nothing. I took off the cap on the dizzy and two of those metals conduction pieces in the cap were gone so i replaced that and still nothing so i then replaced the whole dizzy and still runs like shit.
Any ideas? I've came across problems like this on my old car and other cars and always fixed the problem but ive done just about everything i can think of

Did you check fuel pressure? Just to make sure the regulator is still doing its job. Also check for vacuum leaks.

I haven't checked for fuel pressure. It ran fine though and basically just shit on me.
I've checked for air leaks also forgot to list.
Put another fuel filter on too (not new) but the car sat for 7 years before i bought her.
I disconnect the MAF and it basically runs the same way it was with it plugged in so i tried two other mafs and still nothing

The car sat for 7 years.... I take it you flushed the fuel tank, right? My car sat with half a tank for 6 months and once i drove it, that tank drove like shit.. I can only imagine all the gunk in there?

Good point,I would have suggested this, but I figured that is obvious.Old fuel will get water in it over time, causing rust in the fuel system.
I have had 2 cars that sat over 5 years and there was rust in the tanks and the fuel pumps and sending units had to be replaced. One(my current nx) had a clogged fuel rail, filter, injectors and regulator too.
Royal PITA and cuts on the hands in gas!! fun times indeed.

Start from step 1...clean the tank and fuel system. After you get all the crap out then disconnect the fuel line from the rail an pump some fresh gas through it before you keep throwing parts at it guessing.

Then check compression....or just keep throwing parts at it til you run out of money ,parts,or it gets fixed.LOL
