Bad MPG question
So get this guys, its one of those "i cant believe it" moments lol so today at work we discovered on a customers car that the timing light we were using was faulty -___- soooo instead of using the snap-on "best of the best" light i decided to hook up my garbage cheap light i bought like 5 years ago when i was in a pinch and it was at 12.5-13! So i adjusted it to dead nuts 15 and shes pretty much running like a top. Ive gone about 30 miles tonight and my gas gauge hasn't moved, it miraculously fixed a small stalling issue i have had that i didnt think was related, and overall is running great. I feel like i should advance it a little more still but at the moment cant believe how its running and the situation in general. U guys are the best!

Sweet, let us know if there are improvements in gas mileage (numbers wise.. not gauge wise)

dont know if this was coverd already but driving a turbo motor NA is probably your problem... when i went to get my turbo rebuilt i slapped on a NA header and downpipe. It was SLOW AS BALLS and wasted hella gas...would take like 60 seconds just to get to 60 lmao flooring it. when i slapped the turbo back on everything went back to normal...

hey guys didn't want to start a new thread but i'm having some bad gas problems too . i was told by my mechanic the last time i went to him (to replace my gasket valve cover ) that i needed to change my catalytic converter . i read online when that part goes bad, your MPG lowers but not sure how bad as it didn't say. i've been smelling gas coming from my exhuast . thoughts?

I would start a new thread, your setup is no where near as close as to the OP's.
