Fuel Pump Power Issue
So my buddies and I are building a B-14 Lemon. In the process of stripping the interior, and then having to replace the leaking fuel tank, we have now lost power to the fuel pump itself. I'm not sure specifically what's causing the problem, but I've narrowed it to the following:

Fuse is good, power going through the fuse box.
No power from relay and of course no power to the pump itself.
There is however power going to the fuel level sensor.

So, any idea what it could be? Did the relay go bad all of a sudden? Is there something in the ECU that's cutting the power? Is there another switch I need to look at?

Thanks in advance for your input.

try running pump with direct power from battery with paper clips.if it turns you know its good. fuel level sending unit and pump itself are two different parts in the tank. take your rear seat out undo 3 10mm bolts and disconnect 2 plugs .un bolt 8 o f8 8mm bolts. take the pump out and tap a milisecond of power to it,no click no work.if it works most likely you have a short somewhere or faulty relay.hope this helps as im not there to see what you did so far.good luck

Re: Fuel Pump Power Issue
I had a similar issues with my B14 and it was the harness off of the ecu. One of the harness clips had come unplugged. I also had this issue on my NX and it was a broken wire from the ecu to the relay.

Thanks for the reply, but the pump itself is good. There's no power going to the pump itself.

At this point I'm about 99.99% sure it's one of the clips, I just don't know which one that's loose. Everything seems to be plugged in where it's supposed to go... 'seems' is key there.

well since its a race car i would run direct power off a switch for safety reasons and the pump likes that little more juice you give it

Thanks man, but no need. I already got my hands on a Haynes manual. We think its either a bad ground or bad relay.

That's the workaround we're leaning towards.
