Thats half right.
The attessa on the P10, B13, N14 erra is completely mechanical as you mentioned. they are NOT assisted by any ecu... not all awd attesas are ABS ether. (my first awd p10 had no abs) They use the same ecu's as a fwd (no extras for being awd). I have my current p10 awd completely stripped and theres no signs of any extra ecu.
GTi-R,blueBird,Primera,B13 AWD,Avenir are same tranny on case, mounts everithing, only a few changes on gear ratio, but any tranny can be used for AWD convertion, rigthnow i have a Bluebird tranny running on my car, i have 5 AWD tranny on Spare and i comprare all tranny and same..
Half right again, Gtir & bluebird (det) use the same tranny, but the mounts are different however they are interchangeable.
P10, B13, P11 AWD use a different gearbox (smaller 32 series) but again you can swap in the gtir/bluebird box by swaping mounts/axels/selectors (and modifying gtir front gearbox mount) This is what i have done to swap a gtir tranny into my awd p10.
I am lucky to live here to to have factory awd b13, p10, p11, n14 ect easily available.
