Thread: 2-1 error code

keeps coming back, replace the coil, igniter,

what should i check next?

Spark plugs wires/spark plugs?

Is that connected to the 2-1error?

code 21 weak ignition signal? I had that problem with mine at one time. It got so bad the car would shut off. turn out it was the plug for the transistor. one of them was broken in the sheeth so it would lose connection randomly.


The blk wire was broken. I did what the FSM said too to track the problem down with a volt meter. Testing for continuity, that plug was the 1st stop and bingo. Find a fsm online and read how to test for the problem. I remember asking back about it and nobody knew how to figure it out. Time to get your hands dirty in some wiring lol.
