Yea I would def get a new gasket. Shop around because for some reason prices range quite a bit on that part. Its an easy fix.

G Spec Performance for OE gasket, wouldnt use any other one.

i'd replace that shit immediately, i have a friend that killed a perfectly good JDM de because of a bad valve cover gasket..

You mean overtime, or was it a MASSIVE LEAK? if ITS A SMALL LEAK, YOU CAN JUST ADD OIL NOW AND THEN

was a little leak that turned into a massive one lol, from the looks of his, its hurting.

It could be worse. It could be your main seal leaking at the front cover. Valve cover gasket is prob the easiest one to change. If you can use a 10mm socket and needle nose pliers your all set!

Oh: just dont over tighten the bolts. They WILL break.

That gasket was installed incorrectly. Per the FSM, sealant only goes over the half-moons and distributor hold-down. The proper sealant is UltraGrey. Also, don't over tighten the VC nuts.

I just checked the FSM and it specifies 'Liquid Gasket'. I'm not sure if that's the same as UltraGrey, but for over the counter sealant, UltraGrey is the way to go.
