Thread: Which FWD SR20DE is the best?

The NX2000 was like the SE-R's butter-face cousin from the trailer park. She could certainly do a few things better and was a bit more willing; definitely lots of fun, but that face! UGH!

Low port heads flow more CFM stock than high port heads.

I don't think the NX is ugly, but then again I'm biased.

I would go with NX. Lighter, t-tops, bigger rad, bigger brakes, handles even better than the B13 SE-R.

B14s are out of the question, although they are great to flog they just don't have that "best FWD sr20" essence.

Is this thread about engines or chassis'?

In the end, I think it's about a lesson in " I should have sold my GA car and bought a SR car"....lol

its about the engine but i do wish i had a sr20 b13, we just had this b13 ga for a long time and my brother in law did have a b13 se-r before he sold it

i also noticed that the oil filter on the g20's sr20 are up close towards the firewall and passenger strut tower and a b13 sr20 is just on the block

B13 sr20DE oil filter is also up high, while SR20VE oil filter sits lower. If it sits up low and its a de then it was moved.

I used to have a 91 B13 e model...it had absolutely NOTHING haha. Swapped in a plain SR20 with the usual suspects (I/h/E). I had zero issues doing a rolling burnout in second gear. It was ugly as piss though.
