auto 1.6 - manual 2.0 swap no crank
Hey guys.
I just finished a 1.6 auto - 2.0 manual swap in a 96 b14 and im getting no crank
I've tried searching for solutions for my problems however the 1.6 auto - 2.0 manual swap doesnt seem very common. All of my electrical seems fine. I have lights on the cluster. I hear the fuel pump, but when i try to start it for the first time, all i hear is the driver side relay click, and no crank. I plugged in the auto shift selector, and put it in neutral and park along with the cable that is still connected somewhere under the dash. I also plugged in the clutch switch to the pedal. I even tried to disconnect the plug and bypass the safety switch by inserting a wire in the pins. I'm confident in the usdm wiring harness that I used and the sensors that I have swapped over which leads me to think that there is something I'm missing. Any auto - manual swap guys around? do you have to do anything special for the auto shift selector? Bypass anything? Some help would be appreciated. Thanks
Anyone have any ideas?
