Outlaw engineering Thermo spacers install time ?
Hiya, thinking of getting these for the high port, they are proven to give a nice gain, but have seen reports that it takes 9 hours to install them,is this true

Only if you're retarted.Seriously, you are just removing the intake manifold, not rebuilding an engine.I did my lowport in about 2 hours.I can't remember how tough a highport motor is,but 9 hours seems insane.

Your right 9 hours is a long long time, but the highport from what i know has some bolts that are very hard to get to with the engine in the car,so i dont know weather to get some spacers or not, hopefully somebody with then installed on a highport motor can tell me what i need to know !

High port is easy, only one easier is VE and that's because VE's don't have EGR, high port with no EGR is as easy as VE. Once you loosen the 3-4 bolts that hold the intake manifold to the block, it's dirt easy to get to all of the bolts and pull the manifold out.

Low port is a roal pain because it has water going through the lower runners to the head. That means you have to either drain your coolant or have it be all over the wires. Plus EGR fitment after that.
