I pay less than $200/year for my SE-R. I pay less than $100/mo for my Chev K2500 Duramax (full) + Toyota Sienna (full) + the SE-R (liability only) with limits much higher than the required.

Of course, back in '93 when I bought my first SE-R I was paying over $100/mo. just for it.

My XE costs $15/month for just liability, the SE-R $19/month for liabilty and comprehensive and the Protege5 $35/month for full coverage. $69/month total.

$250 deduct on the comp, $500 on the collision and I'm definitely not what you'd call "under-insured".

wtf?!?

How are you people paying so little for insurance? I'm 27, and have a perfectly clean record since I've been driving at 16, Geico insurance, 2 cars, $50K/$100K liability, $100K property damage, $50K/$100K uninsured motorist, no coverage on the cars themselves and I pay $980 every 6 months ($163 per month). Why am I getting raped in the butthole? Does location have anything to do with it, or do I have too much coverage? What is your coverage summary to get something like $60 a month?

225 every 2 months, 99 sel, 2002 g20, 71 datsun 510, and 77 datsun 710 wagon. The 510 i run liability and comp, then full on the g20, and nearly full on my sel, just liability on the wagon. Love having my own policy since i was a young one and not a mark on my record, and safety programs from driving trucks on my record

Yes, location is a variable.

I'd say you're a little light on some of your coverage. While a $100K sounds like a lot, there are a lot of $100K+ cars on the streets these days. Wipe one of those out and you may get sued for the rest of the cost. Don't even think about crashin' down someone's house.
