Thread: Walbro whining?

So I put a brand new Walbro in my NX after cleaning out the tank.
It runs fine,but after a 20-30 min drive,it will start whining.
I have the whole rear interior out,and seats,so I am sure it is more noticeable,but its pretty loud.
I think you would hear it with all that stuff in,but not sure.

Anyway,I notice it after driving,when I stop and the car is idling ,as I am about to shut it off.

When I get back in the car after work,its quiet again,until I go 20-30 miles.

Prob just when the pump warms up it loosens up a little.

I have a walbro in my turbo b13, you can hear it as soon as the key hits the run position. I have a full interior, but the car rattles and the exhaust is loud, and I can't hear it over that. Fuel pumps shouldn't get louder.
