Bracket on back of lowport intake - what is it for?
I was combing through my engine bay trying to find any vacuum leaks/electrical connections that I'm missing that might explain my rough, almost non-existent idle. I found a bracket that isn't holding anything on the back of the intake. It's a lowport and the bracket is secured by two bolts positioned just to the left of the throttle body if you're looking from the front of the car. What attaches to this? Is it just a wire clip, or am I missing something here?

Thanks.

DE's high and low port seem to both have a bunch of unneeded brackets, i think the highport has more, but your ( b14) has a big ass heavy one by the starter thats a total waste.

i delete all brackets when i install my engines lol.

I'm more concerned that there is a sensor or switch or something that I forgot about when I was putting the head and intake back on. There is a plug back there, but I don't recall it going to anything before.

Yep.

Just like the EGR, Carbon Canister, and the 3 miles of hose and electric on the driver's side. Ugh. There was so much more room to work on my 350 Z28. Not as much fun as a turbo 200sx though.
