My VE block seems pretty good, along with pistons, no signs of detonation or any damage like that. Now cylinder #4 does have a slight scratch on the wall, which I'll get machined out eventually.
What injectors and who said they are rated for 325whp?
Finally unless you want additional headache and more things to break DE+T or DET is really the best way to go. Parts are easy to find, no leaky VVL solenoids, no worries on cam overlap (with stock cams), etc. etc.
