So cheap? I figured 4 or 500 which I certainly can't afford.

Just did some research and it turns out it's real difficult to drill even normal glass with a drill press, and pretty much impossible to drill safety glass with a hand drill. Looks like I'll be waiting it out and saving those pennies after all

i didnt think the windshieled was tempered glass. but either way it still should be double paned laminated.

Lol. Let's hope not, I'm not looking forward to breaking whatever the hell is still holding that thing together because some idiot launched an ice ball at me from their roof on the highway!

the windshield isnt tempered, its laminated. i still dont think you should drill into it. i got my windshield from the local parts yard new for like 86 bucks. i think its about 100 to have the local glass guys install it so you be better off doing that.

there are a few things your missing. first off. the windsheild has a layer of plastic in it.........the windsheild isnt going to fall out of the car.

also, i had my windsheild replaced for $150 by a company called glass masters, look it up and see if you have one close by.

I guess I had realized after thinking about it that it wasn't actually going to break in half and fall out but it still scared the sh*t out of me when it began rattling around. I'll have to look into that company then, thanks.
