I've been out of the sr20 game for so long and i am sad to read this. I met Fred on many occasions, wrenched in his shop in Fall River a few times and went up racing with him in Epping NH in 2005. His car was a monster and i thank him for all the support he gave me with my old b14. He was a good dude in my book, and knew how to build one of the sickest drag sr20's i've ever seen.

What's up Justin? Long time no talk. Been years. You ever see Jeff M around? I haven't talked to him in years. Wonder if he still has the red 94....

I think me and my dad are linsanely lucky to own the complete head off his beast. We were thinking of putting it on Lucy..

If there is some good news to this story it is this. I sold Fred's car back to his 8 yr old son so he can keep the legacy going. Can't wait to see it back in action in the right hands

If you want to see some cool photos of him in his car, <-Action Racing Photos-> www.actionracingphotos.com and look in 2005 under the import event.

We ended up getting the car to go 10.36 on a stock b13 trans with a phantom grip.

I just heard about Fred's passing through @chapnutz1 inquiries to my buddy's b13 for sale....

RIP Fred!!! :-( I don't drink but I'll surely pour a little gasoline on the ground in your memory!

I met Fred a few times, first when I bought my motor and fidanza flywheel from him, once up at Epping to see him drag. We later talked on the phone a handful of times, mostly my help inquiries but convo got personal too. We definitely are a community here and Fred is a member who will definitely be missed! Just a great guy all around, from my experience!!!

Odd...in a build catastrophe I needed a new block. The head had been rebuilt and port + polished. With that head I acquired another motor to build and bolt it down to, the boosted combo is now what resides in my se-r. The guy who I got the replacement block from has also since passed away :-( @jaketips <--- dunno he's here on the dash.

@chapnutz1 what's up with those memorial decals? Oh, and that se-r we were texting about went to the crusher :-(
