Assembled the engine today and fired it up.

Problem is still there!

Do you have a service manual for the CG10? If so, follow the diagnosis steps for unstable idle.
At first I though maybe a bad engine coolant temp sensor, but from your thread on the Micra forum, it was reading 16 deg C, so that looks good (unless the ambient temp was not close to that).
Check the resistance on the injectors - should be 10-14 ohms. If significantly out of the expected range, it could be dumping fuel or very little.
Check each plug wire to make sure you're getting good spark.
Check the ignition coil & power transistor.
