Yeah that was my first try at mounting it. With a little bit of cutting of the opening in the tunnel I could have mounted it a bit higher and then yeah the console would have fit perfectly with no problems, Surround and all. I couldnt fit the surround because i had it too low and the left to right throw going to 1st and 6th and reverse was hitting the surround.
Plus I didnt like how low it sat so i mounted it inside the cabin and I will say its much better placed inside
