Yes only on #4. I would think if the seats were worn the stock cams would have the same issue. Keep in mind this is a 78K motor that's clean as a whistle inside.

@ TDC the cams are facing out. I did the test mutliple times. I even ran through a few cycles with the air on. The only time I didn't hear/feel air coming out the exhaust was when the tension was off the rocker. This is really bazaar.

This sounds crazy hank but is the lifter all the way seated in the bore and also check to make sure the rocker is sitting all the way down on the slotted shim.

What would you need pictures of? The #4 rocker area?

hmm, might check to be sure the cam is not bent, i've heard storys of crank an cam shafts getting bent from how they were stored or installed / uninstalled (not tryin to bust your balls kyle) that would suck but it could be possible.. i just dont see very many possibilities here.

I can double check. I'm 99.9% sure both the slotted piece and shim were and are seated correctly. The lifter position was never disturb until after I started debugging this issue. It worked with the stock cams...

Yeah, make sure the lifter is all the way seated. If its still a problem then either the cam is bent or your head is bad, or there is significant wear on the valve seat causing the valve to sit higher.

Ive never seen that with any set of JWT cams. If you are certain that everything else is right you could just reshim that valve. Either get a shim set or grind down the shim until you get the proper valve clearance. Not a hard process, just gotta take your time with it.

Check the clearance on all the others as well from #1 to #3, if the clearance gets tighter as you go down the line then there may be something wrong with the head or cam.

I don't think it's bent. It spins freely, there's no scoring , no nasty noises, no sign of abuse.
