Flywheel center bore
I am currently in the process of installing my lightweight flywheel. When installing, the center bore going onto the crank is a little too small so i used a dremel and slightly bored it out to fit. Will this affect the performance of the flywheel? Or should i have taken it to a Machine shop to do so?!

Do you have a dial indicator to measure the run out of the flywheel to make sure it is centered or not?

No i do not. The flywheel now slides onto the crank smoothly with no free-play when installed.. Just wondering if it would cause any problems by just trimming the bore out a bit.

As long as it's centered and there's no excessive amount of material removed I don't see why there would be any problems

its recommended to use a hotplate to expand the aluminum before installation.

Yea, just for future reference, the install instructions that came with my Fidanza said to heat up the flywheel (I used the oven) so that it would slip over the nose of the crank. Once you do this, it doesn't need to be done on subsequent installs -- it just slips on with a little lubrication.
