how the hell....
any tips or tricks on getting a hose on these guys.... or am i just going to have to take off the water pump........, please help.

Yeah, take the bolts off the coolant pipes and pull it away from it. Its the only way it can be done. Its a pain but yeah, just take the bolts off at the thermostat housing and the ones that hold it to the back of the head and you can move the pipe away.

Removing the water pump wont do you any good or make any more room.

do i have to take off the intake manifold or i should be able to find/reach them??

You can reach them with the intake manifold on if its a lowport or VE which looking from where you took the picture and the runners it looks like a lowport motor or ve motor. So yeah you wont need to take it off.

Highport motors are more of a pain as you gotta remove the intake manifold to do it.

I always put a little grease on the pipe and in the hose to make it easier to slide.

Nope she's a 91 highport, so its got to come off.....

Intake has to come off unfortunatly. It's not a very hard job just very time consuming.

got the hose on!! bolted everything up, added some coolant fired her up thaaaan............... this little bastard start spewing.........
