The root cause of the problem ended up being two issues with the TPS: Corrosion on the connector meant it was not sending signal to the ECU, and the little spring-loaded arm was keeping the throttle -very slightly- open. So now it idles where it should, hesitates a little bit but may be due to the TPS still. Either way, great progress!

Congrats on fixing it! I guess my diag skills are pretty good as the problems are pretty much what I stated haha

Thanks again to you, and to everyone else who chimed in with tips and advice! Now it's time to button up the engine bay, and get started on the struts and brakes!
