Thread: Radiator recplacement/ISSUE RESOLVED

My radiator started leaking I'm looking for a replacement. The problem seems that I can't find the proper replacement with the correct inlet and outlet size. Are there any companies out there that offer the correct sizes? It seems like they are mostly coming in the sizes to accommodate the 1.6 engines..That's 1.125.......I think the proper size I need is 1 3/8. I don't want to use adapters and all this bullshit I just want the proper fitting part.

mishmoto and the adaptor would just be a piece of 1.6 hose on the neck and slide the 2.0 hose over it. i have a 2.0 stock one if you are interested

I got a cheap eBay one last year that came in the correct size in/out and with slim fans I think it was $200,it was a dual core all aluminum, it held up good with the 300zx rad cap. I sold the car so I don't know its current condition.

Just looking for a oem style replacement though, with the header I have it does not leave much room for fans if I was to upgrade to a aluminum unit..... I'll check the yards but I prefer something new. Just thought someone would know off the top of their head and point me in the right direction.

I just went through all of the ebay ads last week looking for the same thing. I don't like using the rubber spacer sleeves to adapt the SR hoses. I do hill climbs and really need more cooling than stock so I bought a Mishimoto for $240 shipped. I thought I saw an OE style rad with the correct 1 3/8" inlet/outlets, but can't find it on ebay right now. Some listings don't give specs so I sent the seller a question. If I find one I will let you know.

Yea....that's why I figured I ask for help on this because just as you said, I went through multiple ads and it had either the incorrect size inlet/outlet or it was not even listed.... did that for about 2 hours before I decieded to start this post...I figured with the thousands of members here someone would have a simple answer for me.....but I found a radiator....Oem style, no adapters..... it's in the car and running.......for now lol.

Cool. Where did you get it and how much was it please? I might want one for my other SE-R.
