I replace them with hex SS caps now days. I hate that Nissan loves to use the softest metal screws on these components. I have a stuck FPR screw that is stripped, and it's hard to get to .

I'm gonna try witch hunter for my sti's to freshen them up. I don't remember the lowport to well by by not remove the bolts push the top mainfold back and then undo the rail and remove injectors? Is it really necessary to undo any other hoses?

I think it would be really hard to get to the 3 bolts that hold the rail down without swinging the whole mani collector ("top manifold") out of the way. I could be wrong. The FSM says to remove the collector, so I did.

The design of the intake mani does make things a little more complicated, but I've never taken mine off to remove the fuel rail. I always pull it out towards the driver side. It takes a little time, but it works for me.

For side feeds, just leave them in the rail & just pressurize with cleaner

I replaced 2 injectors on my 94 SE-R awhile back. I got really pissed when I found the crap under the upper part of the manifold was still attached. I just said the heck with it and kinda pushed the upper part back and out of the way enough to get to the injectors. And a big ditto on changing out the phillips screws to stainless cap screws for the hold-downs. I don't want to fight seized phillips screws again. Good luck, Chuck

I can usually get the low ports out on my b13 pretty easy. Takes me about 10-15 min. I take mines out Just how LikeTheMovies said, unbolt the top portion of the manifold disconnect the coolant lines, connectors for the AACV and swing it to the side. You don't have to take the rail out to get the injectors out either. Good luck though, getting your injectors cleaned and flowed is always a good idea.
